MS Access to write to SQL tables. Is this possible in SQL Server 2008?

I had a SQL 2000 database that I was able to create a linked MS access database that could update directly to the SQL database tables. I now have a SQL 2008 database but I can’t update the database from access any longer. Is this new? Will it be impossible for me to update this way now?
It is Access 2003.
Colanth I was wondering the same thing. Maybe I need to update my MS access version to 2010
